HELP! Should I go with the outland route?

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen who is wanting to sponsor my husband who is American.
I heard that outland is the fastest way to go, and I am considering that route.
However, I am a little confused with everything and have a few questions.

1) My husband will be coming to Canada, and automatically receives a 6-month visitor visa since he is American. Correct?
2) Can he stay with me in Canada during the whole process of getting pr? if so, what if it takes longer than 6 months?
3) If we go with Outland - When filling out the application, and they ask for HIS address, would I use my address in Canada ( since that is where he will be living during the process) or would I put his parent's address? ( That is where he lives prior to coming to Canada)
4) This may seem silly, but we are both young, I am 20 and he is 21. Do you think our age can influence or be an issue for our application? We have been together for 5 years.

Thankyou so much!

1. Unless the border agent has a reason to grant a lesser amount of time for the stay (which is unusual), then yes, you get 6 months to stay.
2. He can stay in Canada and then file a visit extension once his current stay is nearly up. Recommendation is to file 30 days before the 6 months ends.
3. Put your address in Canada where he will be living, and on the checklist, select the "I am living in Canada but applying under the family class" option (#3). That is the outland application for someone within Canada as a visitor. Remember that as an outland applicant, he cannot work while in Canada.
4. It will not make any difference as long as you can prove that your marriage and relationship are legitimate.
