Just received Additional Doc Request (OINP Inland AOR Dec 28 2016).

Settlement Plan + RPRF.

It says "in order to make a decision.....etc etc.". Does this mean that i've passed 11.2 ?

And it says:

Our records indicate that you are currently living in Calgary. Please respond to this request with a
detailed settlement plan explaining how you intend to establish yourself in the province of
Ontario in order for a final decision to be made on your application.

I've already explained to them that I'm only still in Calgary because I'm waiting for a decision on my PR application and if i move to Toronto now and get rejected I'll have to travel all the way back to NZ, it's more expensive and vice versa from NZ to Toronto if it gets approved.

What can I include in my settlement plan ?

Is this an express entry application or an Ontario nomination application?

One of November Guys was asked to give Settlement Plan. I could get you in touch with him. I remember he was telling me on Whatsapp, however, his Indian salary was really high given he is 27/28 years old and his current company was willing to offer him a job in Canada. I do not remember the details of his settlement plan though, but, they just want to make sure that you will come to Canada and not another Bogus Candidate as you live in Developed Country. Similarly, for that Nov AOR Guy VO might not be trusting that if he will be coming to Canada given he earns like CAD$ 60-70k in India given his age. Start-Up culture has really increased salaries. Don't know yet if he got PR, though I have whatsapped him

This is normal for a PNP applicant to get if they're currently living in a different province than their nomination province.

Basically IRCC think you have a comfy life in Alberta and need to be convinced you'll actually move to Ontario as you were nominated via OINP.

So, if you search the forum you'll see other examples of settlement plans, but basically what you need to provide is:
- Evidence of job searching in Ontario (interviews and/or email contacts with companies), for this if you current company has an office in Ontario and you manager can write a letter saying you'll be transferred as soon as you get PR would be great
- Evidence of house hunting in Ontario (contact with real state agents about rent or purchasing)
- Any other ties to Ontario you may have (friends or family - blood relatives count for more 'points', job market analysis, etc)

Basically you need to convince the IRCC officer you will move and not just stay in Alberta... Good luck!

Hey Mike,

I am sending you private messages for the last 2-3 days. I need your help with the same matter. I would really appreciate if you can respond to it.

I am currently residing in Quebec and got nominated by Ontario under OINp. After applying in Express Entry, CIC has asked me to submit a settlement plan. Can you please elaborate what are all the things that you incorporated.

Thanks,

Hey Garry,

I am also in the same situation currently. I am residing in Quebec right now , the CIC has requested me to submit a settlement plan.

Could you please explain what are the things you had to present for the plan

Thanks,
