Dear Seniors,

Case updated:

Apr 2007 – landed for 2 weeks then left Canada
Oct 2009 to 2015 - my mother in law was sick
Apr 2011- my mother was sick
Apr 2012 – PR card expired

My husband and I want to come back to Canada, we are thinking of applying the PRTD with H&C, do you think it is possible?

Thanks a lot!

So after spending just two weeks out of over 10 years in Canada you want to come “back”? I don’t understand (yes, cultural issues with family) the # of people who go through the process of getting PR and then just throw it away.

The chances of approval are extremely low. If you had applied for a PRTD back in 2015 - that might have been different. But now you have remained outside of Canada by choice for years.

Answer is the same as before, your chances are incredibly small to be accepted and most likely result is PR TD is rejected and process started to revoke PR status.
Actually your chance are probably worse than before, since you'be now spent an even longer time outside Canada.
