Hi everyone,

I am planning to withdraw my previous application ( applied on July 2007) for FSW NOC 2147 and re-apply for NOC 0213.My point table is as follows :

Age: 10
Edu: 20 (16 year BS in Computer engineering)
Ilets: 14
Experience: 21 (4 years exp + 1.5 year as MANAGER CMTS NOC 0213)
Wife edu : 4
Relative in Canada : 5 ( my elder brother just landed in Canada last month)

Total 74 Points

Now what I wanna know is that has there been any news by CIC for the "re-apply" process ?? Should I go on with the withdraw of old application and once the fee is refunded then I apply for NOC 0213? Or should I wait to hear any thing official from CIC?

Thanks in Advance.

Have you looked at the Provincial programs,For example close relatives like your brother if He is in AB,MB and SKS can sponsor you under the family stream. But you are qualified for the expedited FSW

My brother has also got immigration in the FSW class. So I guess I wont be able to use the provisional programs. So , does the points calculations made by me looks good enough??

For the 2nd part should I wait to hear something official from CIC for the re-apply process or should i proceed??

When I 1st applied in July 2007...It was just NOC 2147 4+ years exp coz I didnt get official letter from my employer that I am promoted to "manager" the promotion letter was given in dec 2007 but it stated "you have been promoted from 1st July 2007". For now I wanna reapply for the fastrack as per official letter head I have more than 1 year of exp as manager .

I want suggestion on this that now should I go for reapply ??

Well I applied at Islamabad visa office and its written in the letter that I receive from Canada immigration section that they will start processing my case in 36 to 42 months time......so its just 18 months since i applied i have to wait for at least 18 more months for them to start processing my case, if i leave it as it is...but surely reapplying will be much quicker i guess, as the processing time is 6 to 12 months...

Hi,saeeds,my sincere advice to u is immediately withdraw ur application n reapply with the new rules n new NOC.As u need to inform CIC abt it ,CIC itself will not take notice of it.Dnt expect anything official from CIC now as they ll respond u only when they ll start processing ur case, almost after 5 yrs.So u shd respond urself.
This for the info of other members one can only sponsor his/her relatives in AB, only if he has been living in AB atleast for 2 yrs n is a PR or citizen of Canada.N this s not the case with saeeds brother as he landed just last month.

well u need to write a letter to CIC ,stating all ur details abt ur application ,the rest will be done by CIC.Also give reference of ur file no n AOR date.
But i want to say one more thing tht before withdrawing ur application make it 100% sure tht u EXACTLY qualify all the requirments for ur new NOC code specially ur professional respnsiblities r exactly the same as described in tht particular NOC code n not just related to it.
Good luck for ur new application .
