Hi All,

I just received this in my email. My 'crimes' so to speak are over 20 years old. Has anyone from the UK or know how to obtain the information below? I have 60 days lol.

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

> Police Certificate: In regards to your Police Certificate from the United Kingdom 'NO LIVE TRACE', our office requires Court Documents, Police Records & Final Disposition.

Thanks.

Use this link to apply police certificate.

Cepheus already has a police certificate - this is what shows the 'No Live Trace', meaning he had a charge / conviction (or other entry) in the UK Police National Computer that's now been purged or removed. I'm from the UK and had to get the same, but it just said No Trace, meaning I have no criminal record or dealings with the police in the UK.

I suggest you get in touch with the police force in the UK associated with the 'crimes' / 'charges' for documents showing what happened and the disposition of the case(s). The court and police force will have a record somewhere.

I'm assuming that because you were let into Canada with this record, it was nothing that severe.

It was over 20 years ago.

That may be, but CIC apparently want information about them, whatever happened.
