Hi all,
I am a permanent resident in Canada for last 7 months. One of my friend is in Jail due to a family dispute. I am the only person he knows me here. He wants me to file a bail for him to release him from jail.
I wanna ask will it effect on my status here or not. What is the procedure and what documents I need to show there?

1. Nice friends. No, it has no effect on your status. He jumps bail, you forfeit the money.
