HELP REQUIRED INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FOR CANADA!

Kindly note that I have recently applied for Meng in Electrical Engineering ( Uni. of Windsor ), MAsc in Electrical Engineering ( Uni. of Alberta ) & MAsc in Electrical Engineering ( Uni. of Waterloo ) all in canada and I am waiting for my acceptance letters. My queries are as follows:

1. My academic records are below:

10th grade (Matriculation) = 72.8%
12th grade (Intermediate) = 66.2%
Bachelors in Electrical Engg (B.E) = 52.2%
IELTS 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0)

Will I be able to get acceptance, even though the requirements of the Uni. does not match, as they require above 73% in Bachelors? is it still possible?

2. How much time does a Uni. normally takes to make a decision on a student's application?

3. Incase, I get admission in a Canadian Uni, how many months of bank statement I need to show to the VO?

4. What documents are required to show to the Visa Officer whilst giving an interview?

5. What is the procedure to book an interview slot for the Visa?

6. Incase we get a call for Medical, do we need to bring our own medical certificate or the Canadian Embassy will take their own medical tests and then we need to submit that?

7. I completed my Bachelors Degree in 9 years due to financial problems and my mother's ill health, will this have an effect?

sry to say . but i dnt think u have any chance with such profile

and the unis u have applied are one of the best in canada ..and their requirements are way higher than ur profile .
i think u should check the requirements properly before applying to any uni.

if u want to go for uni then i think u shall go for
Uni of Regina
Uni of Saskatchewan
concordia uni
as these unis have comparitively lower requirements

Are you sure about Regina? I got a rejection from them even though I had 84% in my undergrad. Even Univ of Sask and Concordia are highly ranked and require minimum 70%

@xNe0x ---- Sorry. But if you get in it should be a miracle or on sheer luck. I also applied to waterloo and Uwindsor. But only made it to Uwindsor with 84% undergrad marks.

i think u can try for some college , but even if u get the offer ltr... there will b problem while issuing the visa as the chances are very slim tht VO will issue u visa with such profile...
taling about some other country , i dont now for sure bt u can check for New Zealand

Ohhh.. You should apply for 2 year pg diplima in any spp college.. If ur lucky u can get visa .but chance are very low .academics are not good

Dear friend, I believe you should be positive and at the same time keep your option opens. Apply for several schools and see which one you may be of best fit. Your gap is definitely low, but as engineering major GPA is just 60% of the requirements. Try to emphasize on internship works as well, it will definitely assist your admission

I will be shocked if any of these universities accepts you (Waterloo certainly won't). Your marks are far too low and your IELTS results are too low as well.

Last 2 years of btech - 72%
Ielts - 7.5

I applied for MEng program in following uni's
Mcmaster
Umanitoba ( got a supervisor)
Ryerson
Uwindsor

Got rejection from mcmaster and waiting result from other universities.
I applied in Ryerson for fall2014 but not received any decision..isnt it too late ?

Following some previous posts it seems Ryerson is too lazy to give decisions. I know someone who applied in Feb and still waiting for decision. BTW did you get accepted in Manitoba and Windsor? With your profile Windsor should be a sure shot

Varies from Univ to Univ. Also depends on your profile. You can email the admissions department asking the time taken.

Dude, mail them saying you already got study permit. Now give the decision
