help required for ontario PNP and work permit

Hello all,

Please advise me on the following situation.

I got AOR ( of ontario PNP) on 5-mar-13, and they have asked me to report any change in employer/address/etc... to the visa office as my case will be forwarded to the visa office.

At the same time I have work visa and scheduled to leave pakistan for toronto in the end of april.

can some body please guide me about the remaining time period and procedures of immigration and what should exactly I do.

should i wait in pakistan for the remaining process ? or
I can go to toronto on work permit and my remaining immigration process can be completed there ?

Hi solidsnake,

When did you submitted your application to CIO and how long did it took you to receive the AOR (Acknowledgment of receipt)? And how did you received AOR by email or by regular mail?

I have also applied under Provincial Nominee Program and after getting Nomination Certificate, I submitted to CIO and the file was received by G Miller on 7th Feb 2013. Till now I have not received any communication yet. Thanks for your feedback.

With regards to your case, your application will probably continue to be processed in the nominated Visa office regardless of where you are. I don't see anything wrong in traveling to Canada from that perspective. I think once you are there in Toronto then you might look for request to transfer the visa office within Canada for faster processing.

I submitted application in feb-13 and then in first week of march i got AOR through email and then they said that case will be forwarded to london visa office.


Do you have any idea, how many steps are remaining and how much time it will get.
