Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me with an answer or advice for my situation.

I am a provincial nominee from Ontario under the masters stream, I applied to the CIC for permanent residence in January and my status currently is medicals received. I have a post graduation work permit along with a work visa, both will expire ed of June 2013, and I currently don't work.

I am not concerned about work right now, but I have two main questions:

1. I filed for PR as an Inland applicant , if my visa and work permit expire, I should be under an implied status to stay in Canada. The question is if I went home to Egypt and stayed there waiting for my PR decision, will that affect my application as I applied from within Canada

2. If I want to stay in Canada but want to be able to leave, hat type of visa should I apply for, and can I apply for it from within Canada?

I appreciate the help in advance, I want to settle these issues quickly so i don't get into trouble.

Thanks

Ok don't worry. I have done a lot of research on this topic.

Read this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob406.asp

Then request OPNP for the supporting letter, once you get that ... apply for 18 months open work permit.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your help, It looks promising and i will contact OPNP tomorrow, may I ask did you or anyone already did it and got the work permit?

Yes, it's the law.. as long as OPNP provides you with the letter, which they should...you are good to go.

I requested the letter today, hope they will get it fast.

Last questions:

1. After receiving the letter, should I apply using this application: "Application to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay in Canada as a Worker"
to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, Alberta ?

2. On this application page it shows that you can apply electronically, but in the bulletin you posted earlier it says submit by mail, which one did you use?

Thank you for all your help

Well, I have not been in this situation but what I would suggest you do this...

google come to Canada wizard...follow that... it will allow you to submit application electronically...
