help regarding student visa

Hi

I want to know what are the chances of getting a student visa or how can i improve my chances.

I have done B.com from India with 69%.(2005-2008)

then I studied Graduate diploma in International business (Level 7) in New Zealand. (2009-2010)

after finishing my diploma in 2010 till present i am working in New Zealand in KFC as a Assistant Manager.

I have 6.5 bands in ielts in each module

so far i have thought of Lambton college, Centennial and humber college for Graduate Certificate/Post Diploma 2 year programms.

I would really appreciate if some one could help.

No one can assure u 100% if u want to apply for canada . its a hit and trial option . you may or may not get visa .

ur chances will be good if u have a certificate stating your work experience from your employer.

I can get the experience certificate from my employer.

the course that i have choosen is it right according to my profile or should i select a higher level course.

Chances are slim to none. You have applied for the course which you have already done in NZ. No progression in studies.

If i opt a masters degree will that improve my chances.

A consultant told me because of 5 years of work experience it will be hard to get student visa.

I calculated my points for express entry it works out to be around 400.

my friend I am in immigration profession 6+ years believe me 400 is a great score

little bit of perseverance will get you the ITA . go ahead and file EE and resume your normal duties

What is your reason to apply for student visa ? Is your goal to immigrate to Canada ? if yes you should try express entry.

Yes my goal is to get pr. My points for express entry are 400. So far people till 450 points has got selected. I dont think i have a shot through express entry.

Nitin, you should try for Ontario Pnp. You will get an invite to apply for PNP since your score is 400. Just re-create your profile and submit for pnp
