Help regarding PGWP... URGENT!!

Hi Guyz,

I need your opinion for the length of my PGWP.

I did an accelerated intense program of 18 months diploma in dental hygiene recently from a private college. But this course is equivalent to a full 3 yr dental hygiene program from a public college. The length of my program is 18 months as there r no breaks or holidays in between the semesters. And my credit hours are almost 40 hrs a week. My program was a full time 4 semester program. However on my transcript the study period shows Dec2013 - Jun 2015.

I applied for PGWP recently. So I am wondering will I get 3yrs work permit or just 18 months? And if i get 18months then can I do something to get a 3yr work permit (like should I submit an explanation letter from my college stating about the program equivalency to a 3 yr program)

Please I need ur suggestions. Help me.

Why did u choose a private college???

You are better to go public school for pgwp with 100% guarnatee.. Dont take any risks... if u want to get a work permit.

That's why I gave up dental hygiene program. I am serious.

In Canada, it is not easy to study for dental hygiene as an international student....
