I have an employment reference letter which says please refer schedule 1 for job description. My job description is on a letterhead but there is no signature or stamp. The first page of my reference letter is signed and stamped by HR but the second and third which is the job description is not. The first page says permanent, work hrs, title, salary etc and please refer to schedule 1 for job description.

What can i do? I have just submitted my AOR on 9th May. Should i get it stamped and submit again via CSE? Will it be taken into consideration.

Please advise.

Anyone with a similar case or any view?

Someone on the forum recently got rejected because the second page of the employment letter was not on letterhead. Quickly get the appropriate signature and send it with an explanation letter via the CSE. They review all cse

What ???? This is ridiculous.

I searched that thread but cannot find the post regarding the rejection because the second page was not on letterhead. Can you post the lik here please?

Ok i will get that done. My letter is on the letterhead but the letter is signed and stamped only on the first page by the HR person. The second and third pages are titled job description and the content is the role and responsibilities. But does not have a stamp or signature.

Which post are you referring? Can you post the link? Are you referring to the one by the member raven created yesterday? It has different issue.

A company need not issue all pages on letterhead. Generally first page is in letterhead and subsequent pages could be continuously numbered.

Only thing they could do in this case is contact your employer and check with him whether the second and third page are genuine, this is no reason for rejection!! No, this was the case that requires additional checks, guy requested GCMS and saw they made a note at A11 stage. He is not rejected..

Yeah i panicked coz i read about raven00090's case. It is quite similar to mine.
My past employer provided me the letter with all the mandatory details like job title, number of hrs, salary, full time etc. then the last line reads please refer Schedule 1 on the next page for the job description.

I only noticed today that those last 2 pages which mention my roles n responsibilities dont have a stamp or signature, although it is on the letterhead. I fear they may think something fishy which is not the case.

Anyway i plan to raise a CSE and provide the stamped version. I hope they accept it now since i have already received my AOR

Your AOR is 9 May so raise a CSE, it should get to them by that stage. No reason to panick. For now ;) In any case, this is not a reason for rejection.

This is the sort of posts that annoys me heavily, people throw out apparent facts even though they are nothing but twisted and inaccurate statements! A -1 for you if I could.

This whole post gave me jitters. My reference letter is two pages long. The first page mentions all the required info (on company's letterhead) and then about 2/3rd of the roles and responsibilities in numbers (starting from 1 to 7) while the second one continues with the rest of the duties (from number 8 to 10).

It finishes with the signature and stamp. Both pages are on letterhead but only the second page is signed and stamped. Should I too, raise a CSE ?

No need... this was a unique case. Your Ref. letter is clear, no confusion there.

My letter was done the same way. The first page was on the company letterhead with title, salary, etc., and the VP signed it. The 2nd and 3rd pages were the HR print-out of my job description. CIC accepted this with no questions.
