Help regarding documents.

Hello friends..I got the ITA on 27th jan and now in the process of submitting documents I am facing some problems.

1 The size of employment documents with bank statements (salary proof) is almost 8MB even after compressing it.so I am not able to upload it.so what should I do?

2 Name of my spouse is NEHA but in her IELTS score card its written NEHA LNU where LNU stands for "last name unknown". so a letter of explanation will do?

3 All my visas and stamps are in my old passport which got expired in December so I got a new passport issued. so now do I need to send scanned copies of both my passports?

Did you try converting them to a single PDF doc ?

Is she having only first name in her passport also ?. In any case, IELTS report does have photograph as well so LOE would be ok

If old passport expired less than 2 years ago then it's also needed. You must include scan of Bio page and all visa/stamped pages of your old passport as well

Under passport section they specifically asked for legible passport copies only.

Correct.

They might be confusing this with OINP requirements. CIC asks only for bio-pages of valid passport.

This is as per the standard practices followed all across the globe - old passport is required for atleast another two years from its expiry.
I wonder if all pages need to be scanned for CIC application OR only the bio-pages. But, visa pages are required.

1 Yes I have made it a pdf doc only.

2 On passport my spouse's only first name is there though in express entry profile its NEHA NA where NA means 'not applicable'.we had to write NA because we couldn't left it blank.

3 Should I make a pdf doc for both the passports?

Provide a copy of each dependent’s passport page showing his/her photo and personal information, if applicable.

Ontario does ask for those documents as part of the OINP application. CIC doesn't.

Will CIC ask for Old passport copies if a candidate has PCC from 3 countries with the old passport number mentioned on them??
As such this will be my case when I would submit my eAPR.

Doesn't matter. You'll still be asked to provide bio-pages from the valid passport.

Check for the size of the individual images you are attaching to the doc. and try to compress them.

1) Open a new MS Powerpoint doc
2) Insert the image that u want to compress
3) Right click and save that as image.

File size will reduce.

There are many online tools and websites available to compress images. But i don't want to upload my personal information to some unkown sites, so i chose this option. Again its up to you.

PDF creator addin for MS Word will also help you to compress the file size.
