Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi ,

I need to know the basic process of filing the application.

1. First I need to fill the Principal application, background declaration, economic classes, additional family information, and photographs.
2. Do I need to submit my IELTS score and certificate and rest of the documents(like medical, education certificate etc)?
3. If I just need to fill the above documents then I think there is no need of any agent or so? What do u say about this?
4. If I submit these application, after how much time I should expect reply back from CIC?

Thanks,

You just need to send the application forms to Sydney, Canada if you are applying under the FSW category. You do not have to submit any documents. Kindly refer to the CIC website for updated checklist.
Once you submit the file, you can expect a reply from CIO in form of an email or letter within 6-8 weeks.

above is correct. photographs are not required at initial filing to CIC, NS. if you are using a representative, then there's another form for that.
2. Do I need to submit my IELTS score and certificate and rest of the documents(like medical, education certificate etc)?
no documents to be sent to Nova Scotia
3. If I just need to fill the above documents then I think there is no need of any agent or so? What do u say about this?
using an agent is up to you. When sending final application to local Visa office, all proofs and docs have to be sent. Most people on this forum are not using agents/lawyers (my assumption)
4. If I submit these application, after how much time I should expect reply back from CIC?
you can check trackitt for trends. the general trend since about 2 months is a response in e-mail in about 3-5 weeks. but, this is not a rule. people have got response faster or later.

Thanks,

when should I appear for IELTS exam? Is it recommended to appear before you send your first application to cic?

1. depends on your level of confidence on your English.
2. Calculate your points without English. If you need 10 pointsor below and you think you are abovr average and will definitely score that much, then go for the application now and IELTS later. If you think, you are on borderline, then better to take the test first and be sure of the no. of points you can claim for English before apllying.

e.g. I needed 12 points in Englis to reach 67 points and was confident of scoring 16. So, I had a margin of faltering in 2 sections, which is a lot of margin. So, I applied first and took IELTS later.

So, you need to take call for youself
