Help!received file number on June 17th,still waiting ,noc1222~

CIC received file on May 8th,and i got the file number on June 17th. I still waiting for almost 8 months. My Noc is 1222, but i am holding diploma. Is that the big problem? Moreover, i have lived in Australia for almost one year. Do i need to provide the criminal record or not ? Thanks all.

no, that is not the problem, in fact there does not appear to be any problem. You applied less than a year ago, it is not surprising that you have not heard anything more.
