help qorax & other seniors how to improve writing skills for ielts

Hello all
I have received my AOR & letter of 120 days Now i am going to appear for ielts in first week of may I am ok with listening, speaking & reading but i want to improve my writing skills because while writing i use simple words so what should i do to improve it

Your writing skill is evdent from your user name.

You need to improve your thoughts not writing. Once your thoughts imroved, your writing skill will automaticlly imrove. So work on it.

What if the bank account is under my wife's name instead of mine? Will that be a problem given I am the principal applicant? She has sufficient funds in her account since one year as proof of funds for settlement. She can transfer to my account but she has to travel to Pakistan, only for this purpose.

You need to understand that simple words in not a problem, if anything it is better. the best communication is one that is simple. you therefore need not worry about simple words, but focus on apt words. your words should reflect your thoughts, the simpler, the better. I dont know who gave you this idea that you should not use simple words. If you are still not confident, I suggest you take some coaching classes or do lots of practice sessions. Qorax is a great help, God Bless him, But I dont think we should ask him now to coach us on writing skills

Perfect suggestion to bund

first you need to improve your thoughts, all other things will improve automatically.
See you know a lot punjabi's are there on this forum and who knows the meaning of this user name. I don't know what you want to prove by this, We are here to get valubale suggestion not to keep our self busy in this non value adding activity.

I have no idea about Panjabi but may I suggest that using fancy words and sentences is exactly what gives high score.
However, you should know how to use them wisely. Otherwise it will not help if it is clear that you trow those words randomly and out of context.
And don't forget in the essay to briefly mention opposite point of view and immediately dismiss it.

One of the ways to improve writing is reading.

But above all I would highly recommend you to enroll in IETLS coaching classes tailored for writing.
