Hello All,
I am an applicant in skilled worker cat, did it in sep 2005. But currently i am in canada on a study permit with family since dec 2009( started this process in mar 2009). actually my plan was to get Canadian education ( which i planned anyways after PR or Before) to be fit for job market here. So as things were taking time i decided to move before getting PR and wait for it in due course. But now things appear so slow that i might not be able to get PR in next 2 years ( it appears so, from various tracking sites, as they have made a complete halt at feb 2005 applicants), So my questions ( for seniors or any one who could answer) are:
1. Can any one give solid guess that by what time my case would be processed?
2. CIC People informed me that i have an option to move my app to Buffalo,US.but they will decided if its eligilble or not for transfer. So is transfer to Buffalo an appropriate step ? and if yes how much time does this tranfer will take( people said it may take from 1 month to six months)?
3. If case is transfered, wil that be processed as per Buffulo timeline (26 mnths currently) or it would be done before that or later?
4. Also there is a last option to wait for 1 yr and apply from within canada again ( have more than4 yr of MNC exp), ( process in Which my app would go to NS and then forwarded to delhi (i suppose, just going thro it thesedays)). In this case my case would be processed as per new time line ( 6monthsto 1 yr) or i would be lying in heap of files till my kids attain age of maturityand reapply for PR.

Or wait for this !@#$^ "In process" app to move.

Any friends who got their files transferred to Buffalo( prior to feb 2008 applicants) or ones who applied to NS after 1 yr of edu and with exp are welcomed to answer my question!!! Quickly as i am running low on motivation these days
Thanks

Unlikely that it will be transferred, read Operations Bulletin 180

" Visa offices are not required to transfer files for any other reasons. Such reasons include cases of applicants who comply with subsection R11(1) for the specified visa office, at the time the application is received at the CIO, but subsequently leave the territory of the specified visa office. In these cases, the original visa office should proceed with a final determination of eligibility and process the application if eligible. The visa office should not transfer the file to another visa office unless the transfer is warranted for program integrity reasons. Leaving a visa office’s territory alone does not warrant a file transfer. In this case, if an applicant requests a file transfer, the visa office should inform them that the application will not be transferred"

It applies to pre- C50 applications as well.
