Here is my profile :
College Graduate with Bachelor's level : Field is similar to International Studies. (Equal to 4 years)
I've worked for a private company for 4 years, my job is a desk job but not related to my degree.
I also have an IELTS with a band score of 8.
My current degree and career does not really give me any options and I would like to jump start it all over again by studying in Canada.
My problem is this :
I want to take a 2 Year Diploma in Lethbridge College majoring in Psychology. The problem is, this screams "course mismatch", but the entire point is I want to CHANGE careers and start over a new one!
I've also checked Masters level education and I found Memorial Univ., I contacted them but I'm not sure if their Humanities program, which is the only program that I seem to be qualified to take (based on personal opinion) is even related to my field (They both have history and deals with social problems).
This could also lead to "course mismatch"...
Now, I have heard about the Post Graduate diploma tailored for International Students who cannot afford to get another bachelors but are too underqualified to get a Masters. What is this? And why can't I seem to find these programs here : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/participants.asp#alberta
Can anyone provide me with information?
Thank you.
