I have applied under sds category for study permit from india on 20th june
But I didn't gave police clearance certificate
Is it necessary to provide?

Indian students DO NOT require police clearance certificate.

Thank you for your reply, however I have lived in UAE for almost 4 years, so do I have to produce PCC from that country?

To the best of my knowledge, PCCs are not required for temporary resident applications like study permits. You'll require one when/if you apply for a PR afterward. Also, in none of the study permit checklists, SDS or non-SDS, there's anything about PCC. If VO wants it he'll ask for it (never seen such a case though).
