Hello,

I completed my Bachelors in Technology (Engineering) in 2012. I am preparing for GRE and TOEFL so as to get a good University in Canada for MS. I have certain doubts an queries. I would be very helpful for me and I'll highly appreciate if someone would answer the following questions.

1. Taking into considerations some facts such as immediate employment after post-graduation, Which all are the best Universities for the MS in electrical / telecommunication engineering (province-wise) ?

2. Which province has the maximum job opportunities in the field of electrical engineering (Telecom & IT in particular) ?

3. Considering my field of study, Which province can provide me an easy PR? In other words, Which province should I prefer for the MS such that I get the PR easily

If you take at least a 2 year course, you can get a work permit after graduating for 3 yrs. If you work a skilled job for 1 year full time, you can apply for PR under Canadian experience class. That works in any province. Some provinces may offer some immigration classes for graduates and you can look into that as well.

Your third question is answered in the International Students section of this forum. Go there and look for the very first thread.

? What's your status in US?

Dude US has 10 times more opportunity for IT/Computer science jobs, much higher salaries
too.

Very little opportunity in Canada in that area, plus lower salaries. Most Canadian in that area head to silicon valley.

In Canada lots of IT jobs are being outsourced or replaced
with cheap temp foreign workers.

If that's your area of study, go to the US!
