help pls! TRV applicant from dubai

Hi bryanna,
My case same sisternaima. I also submitted my application together with my passport here in VFS DUBAI last november 2, 2016. The day after that i received an email says:
Documents for Visa application, tracking ID No.201611028******* are under process at the Canada Visa Office, ABU DHABI.
On 13th i checked my email says : Documents for visa application, tracking ID No.2016110********* have been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 13/11/2016.

What does it mean? Should i go to VFS and ask them? maybe they need some documents? Thanks for reply.

Hi,

To get more correct updates, I suggest you link your paper application to your online account. The link is:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/link.asp

However, after you link your account, you will not receive updates through mail except in your MyCIC account

I tried to link my paper application many times since I received the message last nov 13 but until now it shows no application found. Do you think the best way is to go to vfs to collect the passport and see what's inside?

You can confirm with the VAC/VFS that your passport is ready for collection

Hi bryanna, got my passport yesterday. It was refused. I received a letter stating the reason of refusal.
1. Family ties in canada
In my application I attached my aunty's invutation letter stating that she will pay for my accomodation and ticket like a sponsor. I also attached her tenancy contract, citizenship card, passport.
2. Family ties in country of residence (UAE)
I am currently working here in dubai as a nurse for 1 year and 9 months my contract will finish next year. I dont have any relative here in dubai.
3. Travel history
I have only travelled in thailand and singapore
4. Purpose of visit
I dont what they mean with this.

I hope you can help me as I am planning to reapply. How many months can I reapply? What can you suggest to make my case stronger?

These are the changes I have:

1. I am working now in a different hospital with unlimited contract.
2. My 6 months probationary period finished with the new company.
3. With regards to family ties in UAE I don't have any. I only have tenancy contract dated for a year, credit card, postpaid bill.
4. I visited Georgia (Eurasia) last March 2017.

I also took a copy my CAIPS NOTES hoping it will help my re application.
