My Post-Graduation Work Permit is going to expiry in July 2016, I guess there is not much chance for me to get an ITA without OINP additional 600 points even though currently I have 436 points. I have been in the EE pool (NOC 1111, clb 8, have relative in Ontario) since Oct 2015. Recreated my profile 4 times already, still didn't get PT. :(

Could anyone please help me with it? don't know what is wrong with my profile. :(

1. I withdraw my old profile and deactivated my old job bank, and then I recreate my profile and my new job bank by using the job seeker code provided and the new email account I created.
2. I did select all provinces as my interest to stay in EE profie

Thank you very much, I appreciate your help!

It depends on your luck.
Do you have your work experience gained in last 5 years ?

I only have 1 year's experience under NOC A, another 1.5 year were under D which couldn't be counted. :(

Your profile seems to be fine. Provincial nominations, particularly Ontario's seem to be quite random. If you already have a job, any chance of getting an LMIA through your employer? You might try that or any of the other steps (such as retaking IELTS) to increase your CRS.

I checked the website, I need to get prevailing wage, which is $34.13/hr for NOC 1111 in order to be eligible for LMIA, only have around $27 for now :'(

I am retaking my IELTS this month, hopefully, i could reach clb 9, but still far away from 480 points :(

Have you considered other provinces? e.g. SINP?

You might get an ITA hopefully in coming year which is expected to drop down CRS according to CIC spokesperson...
Good luck Dear!! :) :)

Maybe you should have just selected Ontario as the province.

Hi emilywym,

I understand your situation. Your work permit expires July 2016 that is 8 months from now. You still have lot of time in your hands.

I checked the website, I need to get prevailing wage, which is $34.13/hr for NOC 1111 in order to be eligible for LMIA, only have around $27 for now

Which website did you look at?

Share you breakdown and maybe we can recommend something..

Hope this helps..

I have found the government states that:

Employers applying for a labour market impact assessment (LMIA) must pay the foreign worker:
at a minimum, the posted prevailing wage for the occupation and work location where the foreign worker will be employed; OR
a wage that is within the same wage range that they are paying their current employees working in the same occupation and same work location, if this rate is higher than the prevailing wage.
http://www.esdc.gc.ca/eng/jobs/foreign_workers/higher_skilled/permanent/index.shtml

Then I went to job bank, found the prevailing wage $34. 13 for NOC 1111 in Ontario.
