I will apply for visa soon for Jan 2012. I am doing a job in Pakistan and my contract is till 2013 but I can resign with a prior notice of 1 month or payment of 1 month salary.

Will my employment create any trouble for me in getting VISA??? Will visa officer take it negatively??

It will only strengthen your application as it show that you are well established in your country. And apart from this, it will also help in proving your family ties.

Thank you so much! Actually I started my job yesterday and was a bit confused to see my job offer letter. I completed my BS Engineering in June 2011 and have applied for M.A.Sc in Canada.

This is an added advantage to the application as it shows that you are established. You can add your pay-slip and get an Employment Reference Letter from your Company's HR Department which will be an official letter from the company stating that you are a working professional. Attach them to your visa application.
