hi everyone

I am studying medicine in India and have completed final exam in 2016. After that I have to do internship of one year out of which I did for 11 months and kept one month internship on hold as I am preparing for higher studies
My sister stays in Canada and has invited me my mom and dad. We 3 applies online visa with my dad as primary applicant.
My mom dad visa is approved but mine is rejected
Reason to reject they mentioned:
Travel history (but I have visited uk under family visit visa for three weeks)
Financial status : but I showed bank statement of 3lacs inr under my name and also a property on my name
Purpose of visit: we have mentioned we ll travel for one month to visit my sister and for tourism

Along with this I showed Letter from my principle in which he stated I completed exam in 2016 and currently doing internship

I want to visit Canada along with my dad and mom
Please suggest how to apply and what all to mention next time and can I apply immediately after first refusal

Thank you

Unfortunately, it is not surprising why you were refused.

You have already completed your internship last year. As you have not started practicing as a doctor + not obtained admission to a higher medical study program/MD, you do not have any study ties to return home to.

The UK has been quite liberal in the recent years in issuing visas to even first time travelers.

Financial status : but I showed bank statement of 3lacs inr under my name and also a property on my name
1. Was this bank balance earned by you? Or was some of it borrowed from someone else?

2. Was the property ownership transferred to you recently? It's highly unlikely you were able to purchase a property with your own finances.

As an adult, you could not have applied in the same application as your parents.

Also, with your entire family wanting to visit/will be together in Canada, there are no family members in India to return to. It's possible that you were refused so as to ensure your parents will return to India and they won't overstay.

Please suggest how to apply and what all to mention next time and can I apply immediately after first refusal
It's not advisable to reapply immediately. It's not as if another visa officer will have a change of heart/will see your application differently. First and foremost, you need to prove you have overcome the refusal reasons with new evidence and explanations, and reapply only when there's a significant change in your personal and professional circumstances

I am preparing for higher studies in USA and that’s why I didn’t finish my internship yet as I have multiple stages of exams to be given and I am studying for that

I have no reason to stay in Canada
If I show them proof of fee which I paid for higher studies entrance exam of USA wil it help

I know quite a few doctors who moved to the US for higher studies pretty quickly after they completed their internships i.e. without a gap in their studies.

Unless you are enrolled in a US medical school, this won't help

Reasons they mentioned for refusal are
Travel history
Financial status
Purpose of visit

I visited uk for three weeks in 2011 and returned before visa expiry
Is this not an advantage

I have 3lacs in my bank statement in India
Shall I increase it to 10 lacs and show

Wil any letter from principle stating she has to return in a month to complete her internship help

Purpose of visit I kept entire travel itenery for a month and then shal I book return ticket

No where they mentioned rejecting bcoz am student
If I provide above proofs wil that not b ok this time

Already answered earlier.

You have not earned either the INR 300,000 nor the INR 1 million. It would be clear you have borrowed these amounts just for the visa application, and this could lead to another refusal.

Your missing the point. Your classmates have already completed their internship last year and have moved on.

There's nothing stopping you from completing the last one month of your internship + you had one whole year or probably more to get admission to a US medical school after your internship. Basically, if you have not been admitted to another study program/not started practising as a doctor/General Physician yet, you could take much longer for this and this does not make it a valid reason to return to India.

Purpose of visit I kept entire travel itenery for a month and then shal I book return ticket
Do not book tickets until visa is stamped in your passport. Tickets do not assure a visa approval.

The visa refusal letter is just to give you a basic idea of the refusal grounds. You need to assess your application as a complete package and must not focus only on these stated refusal grounds. BTW it is quite common for young, single, unemployed students to be refused TRVs

Ok thank you finally if I go to any visa agency Wil they help in doing something
Travel agents/visa agencies will give you false assurances just to get money. It's your call if you still decide to take their services.

IMO, you are risking another TRV refusal. I would advise you wait until you either start practising as a General Physician or you get admission in a higher study program

You're welcome :)

Immigration officers won't be on this forum giving advice. Thank goodness I don't work in immigration. I would happily grant visas to quite a few people on this forum who are terribly upset after being refused :D

Deep, I would suggest you to complete the 1 month of internship and get your degree in hand... then apply for a visit/tourist visa just for a couple of weeks only.
