It is over three months since i did a second medical test after the first medical expired due to background check, but up till now i am awaiting request for passport from VO office London.

Does anyone know why all this delay? please i need your explaination.

Happens with some whose security clearances take time - especially for applicants from certain regions. Usually one should expect his/her PPR by 3-5 months from the meds... thus, typically u could get urs anytime now or by another 2 months.U may like to send ur IO an email query.

Thanks for your prompt response qorax. My question is this I had my first medical July 2010 with two further medical tests which last one was November 2010. I was asked to pay landing fee January 2011, request to update my personal history March 2011 and when I inquired from my lawyer in may 2011 regarding the status of my application he said background check is going on and October 2011 I received for re- medical since first one has expired. I had the medical done same October. Since then no further communication from VO London and ecas still show in progress with no medical received.

Could you tell me what's going on?
