@lynnard actually i called up the clinic (timbol clinic in makati :'() and they are saying different things!last july first they gave me two referral letters which is one for a pulmonary specialist and one for the tropical desease foundation. they told me if ever the pulmonary doctor will issue a medical clearance after examining the results of my xray. i even underwent citiscan just to make sure and series of xrays and sputum smear @ capitol med so i would know if i really do have a pulmonary prob. and thank God all results are negative. i submitted the results to timbol abd the pulmonary specialist they told me to see. i was not given any meds to take for the results are clearly negative.the specialist submitted all the results to timbol clinic and did not require me to take the sputum culture anymore since the sputum smear results are negative. now here's the catch,last 3 weeks i called the timbol clinic to make a follow up as to when they submitted the med clearance from the pulmonary specialist. the nurse told me they received it and wil submit it the week after. and that everything is ok and complete.she even wished me goodluck and said i just ned to wait for my visa if ever.i called up again last week to make sure and same nurse told me it was submitted last aug 9 however i was still tagged as incomplete!! she said they are waiting for the sputum culture result which will take like 8 weeks for the result! i am really pissed and dissapointed of them giving misleading and inaccurate info to their patients. they kept me waiting and hoping that alk was fine and that my med clearance was ok but now they are telling another thing which is contrary to what they instructed me to do and from what the referred specialist noted on my med results. i am in limbo..i don't know what to do now. very un coordinated people! i dont want to go thru the process of waiting again for 8 weeks for the sputum culture while in the first place the specialist agreed to submit the sputum smears and assured me no meds needed since my results are negative. i feel lost and really on the verge of giving up. im on the last stage to get my visa if ever but im not getting any clear answer. im not even sure if the embassy here in manila will process it if it really says incomplete as what the nurse at the clinic told me.whew!!

after reading your post i felt angry and sad because of the inconsistence words that the nurse had related to you seems they dont care what would it feels to the persons concern because of their unreliable words. f i were on your part i might even shouted at her because of giving you misleading info. when you called them 3 weeks ago they should tell you at first that you still need the sputum culture even all you test were clear as what the embassy required. did you tell the nurse that the pullmo doctor said that sputum culture are no longer required because of negative sputum smear. maybe better to go back to the clinic and tell them and even blamed them for their negligence. thats the negative side of being filipino thats why some employer doesnt like to get filipino worker because theirs a lot of red tape in here and lots of heindrances and requirements needed in order to get it through. dont give it up because youre almost at the peak of your journey to see the bright side of your sacrifices. Gods will help you through on this keep on praying... goodluck!

@lynnard-thanks for encouraging me.. you know the feeling like im traumatized of calling up the clinic again and hear another version of results or instructions..aaarrgg!! seriously,all im waiting right now is for the embassy to return my docs and passport and hope is like at 20% now.. it is tiring and stressful to wait,hope,dream especially when you get inaccurate info from people you thought are professionals! i told the clinic the pulmo did not require the sputum culture nor waited for any results of the culture. the results of the sputum smears i submitted was enough. and sadly the nurse was not listening and kept saying it is incomplete! i maintained my patience and tried my very best to level with her as not to lose my temper..she instructed me to call them last week friday which i did not coz im still pissed.. i needed time to get my senses back so probably ill call them up today..and im mindsetting myself of not getting any clear responses or any good news at all! gheezz!!

with your experience im planning to have my chest x-ray first before they will issue my med referral. coz i know that they are very strict when health is concern especially those contagious diseases like tb becoz theyre protecting their citizen. and bsides health insurance in canada is free and they dont want people to come there to be a burden to the government...
hope your medical issue will resolve soon..... just think always that at the end of a tunnel you can see light.....

Yesterday we had our medical exam in clinic. My son was advised to have pulmonary clearance because of his kulane in his neck to a pulmonary pedia in Makati Medical Center. So we went there in the clinic. Unfortunately, he is out of the country until Sept 25 together with the other recommended pulmonary pedia 
. I called the medical clinic again asking her is there any pulmonary pedia that can issue us pulmonary clearance? she answered NO :'(. These two doctors are the only accredited pulomanary pedia. The secretary of the clinic told us that the medical exam will be okay and they will forward it to the embassy on time. I reiterate what she had said that it be okay and my son will be cleared from his medical exam. I am a little bit worried ??? ??? ??? if they will submit the medical of my son on time in the embassy. Will this be a problem? We are rushing onto the 14 days period to forward our medical result in the embassy. Help please : need answer....
