LANDED..........
June-July 2013
I am landing in Toronto in June and have one child under 3. I want to secure a day care for him in the first two weeks after landing so that I can do the paper stuff quietly.
The question is : will any day care accept my child without a SIN number ?
If not can anyone guide me to a good and reliable baby sitter in the first days after landing?

Montreal email address

hi friends can anyone could give me Montreal email address? I have reapplied my file in the month of march I just want to contact . Thanks

your post is totally irrelevant here!!!

>> SIN you will get in 1 day after landing. However it is not required for day care of your child.

If not can anyone guide me to a good and reliable baby sitter in the first days after landing?

>> Toronto is a big city, it is hard to suggest without knowing your actual location in Toronto.

Thanks a lot for your answer . My hotel will be in North York so Ineed a nearby child care.

Most of the good daycare have long waiting. You may want to try some homecare (licenced homecare) . Try toronto.ca website link which have details of licenced homecare.

I did not know there is a difference between home care and day care ,,,,,I found many ads in kijiji like this one http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-services-childcare-nanny-NORTH-YORK-HOME-DAYCARE-W0QQAdIdZ461442228

Is this a homecare? The problems is these people never respond to e mails

Hi. Daycare are mostly licenced and are operated out of special premises but have limited capacity. Homecare are operated out of homes are not necessarily licenced. BUt your best best is to go for licenced homecare. Visit this site j&F Home Child care services. Its one of the licenced homecare and may be a great way for you to start.

Thanks for your kind help :-*one plus for you
