HELP!!! please I have little time--> Online application TRV question

Hi, I applied for my TRV about 15 days ago and in myCIC account this is the message I got yesterday. What I am unsure about is if they want my original passport or scanned copy mailed to their pffice, or scanned copy uploaded to myCIC account (which i dont know how to do anymore). What is quite misleading is their choice of words(scanned copy, received at this office, upload)...so any help will be appreciated. I have up until May 13 for them to get it...so please help.

I think you have to submit the original passport as they need to stick the visa in one of your passport pages . . . I submitted a paper application and and i enclosed my passport along with other requirements . . . go to the Processing time CPP Ottawa forum under Visitor and you can post your question there . . . so you can get other people advice as well . . . from what i learned those who submitted online application they were asked their original passport after and they send it through mail

Oh wow, someone else just told me I need to email a scanned copy. Sigh...now I am really not sure. Please can you give me the link for the CPP Ottawa forum?

just go to Visitors and look for the forum title Processing Time . . . CPP ottawa . . . im on my phone cant send the link sorry . . . where are you now tho? you can call the Call Center and talk to the agents there they can help you they are the best one to answer your question as they know the process
