tats right..it varies from 45 days to 120 days...i've seen most of the cases getting recommendation exactly on 60th Day. So if you have sent it on 19th April then if u take my word, you will have recommendation email right on 18th June 2010. Give me Treat if you really get the mail on the date that i'm telling you :D

Well finally i received an answer, sadly not good news, my application was declined, I applied under the 0213 Category (Computer and Information Systems Manager) and this was what I received:

You have indicated that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC code: 0213- Computer and Information. Although this NOC code corresponds to the occupations specified in the instructions identified by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on 28 November 2008, the main duties that you have listed do not indicate that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties. As such, I am not satisfied that your experience corresponds to NOC 0213- Computer and Information Systems Managers.

As well you have indicated that you have work experience in occupations with the following NOC codes: 0122- Credit Manager, 4142- IT Teacher. These occupations do not correspond to any of the occupations specified in the instructions.

For the reasons outlined above, your application does not meet the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions and your application is not eligible for processing.

Obviously I make some mistakes describing my main duties, anyway, after receiving this I figure that maybe I should use a different job code, I program applications, manage servers, my company AD forest, DB Servers, I provide support over a large number of applications, help making the company's plan of investment, meet with providers, etc; but the point is that I really don't "manage" (key word for 0213 occupation) per say, i'm more like a IT Specialist who does a lot of everything.
What category should I apply on the 2nd round? can you guys help please? It there other NOC code beside 0213 that the CIC will accept my application?

I appreciate all your replies... ;D

Regards...

Ray
