Help please... 8 months in and no news about test!

Guys, I applied from Toronto in November 2017, and I only received an e-mail in January 2018, saying they've received and started processing my application.
No news since then... Not even anything about my test date etc.
Even people who sent theirs after me have heard back. Should I be worried? What can I do at this point?

Join the club. A lot of us applied in October and still waiting. Mostly you were transferred to Mississauga.

Yes, there's something you can do: wait...
It's normal for GTA applicants. I applied in Oct and still no test invite

I applied late Oct 2017 got an in process notification mid January and haven't heard anything since.

I have no idea how they are going to fit the test invite, interview and the oath ceremony onto the next 3,5 months but I'm excited to find out.

Get used to this disappointment. Wherever one looks, people getting invites and progress in their applications while ours aren't touched and get pushed back behind everyone.

It's been the exact same for me. for 7-8 months, all I've gotten is that it's in process. I'm going to call them soon - apparently they've answered some people's questions about security clearance, etc.

I applied November 30th, wrote test May 14th and still waiting for oath swearing date even though my status is showing as 'decision made'. Anyone else experience this delay after test? It's 2 months now since I wrote the test. I live in Toronto - downtown. I wrote the test in Scarborough. Below are my details for the excel file...

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 30, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 6, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on March 6, 2018.
4. We sent you a notice on April 26, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 14, 2018 at 10:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Wow, I sent my application at the same time as you. This is what it shows as of today August 27th:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 30, 2017.

3. We started processing your application on February 2, 2018.

I'm starting to get really fed up. I called and they said they don't know anything, and I should wait 12 months, and if I haven't heard at all, then call back.
