Help passport requested

Hello i have applied for a student visa and after three weeks i received a passport request that a decision has been made on my application so i should submit my passport.

But am a bit afraid ,what outcome should i expect,does anyone has an experience

It means you are getting the Visa. if not they wont have request passport .... Dont be afraid

Thanks man,i just logged into my cic account and realized the processed is closed and my application has been approved

i applied 8th november then i recieved passport request on the 22nd november in mycic,
