HELP!! PASSPORT ABOUT TO EXPIRE IN OCT 2014 APPLYING FOR WORK PERMIT

Please help! My positive LMO is here. All documents are ready to go however my passport is about to expire. I just renewed my passport last March 5 but they said they will only release after 30-45 days. I applied in the Philippine embassy in Riyadh that is why it is taking too long.

Can I apply for work permit under the Live-in caregiver program using my old passport and just follow up on the application once my new passport is released?

it's best if you wait until your new passport arrives...if not, then just submit your application and include a letter to inform them of your passport renewal and provide proof of renewal (receipts, etc)...c",)

Maybe I'll just wait for my new passport to arrive.

It is best to wait for your passport as the validity of the documents (work permit, visa, SIN etc) will be based on the expiration of your passport.
