Help!!Online Visa application for parents, co-applicant got app number but principal applicant not

Hi everyone
i just submitted visitor visa application on line for my parents
after i submitted the application, my mom, co-applicant received email with application number immediately, and the status is we are processing your application.
but my father, principal applicant didn't received the application number and can not see the status
is this normal? or i have to wait for a while?

Wait for a while. If no confirmation is received you will need to contact CIC.
