I hope someone can help me. Since CIC changed the rules to 12 month work experience in Canada, I have become eligible to apply because I came to Canada in Jan 2011 under my first IEC. I worked from March until December in two different companies but doing the same job (Administrative Assistant). NOC Code 1241-B.
I then moved back to Ireland in December and returned to Canada in April 2012 when I got issued my second IEC visa. I returned to work as an Administrative Assistant in a Sports Medical Clinic and Fitness centre. I still work there. This allows me to have had over 12 months work experience. I started working at $13 per hour but now I work $14. I have worked a lot of overtime too where my salary has increased some weeks to $19.50-$21 per hour.
My question is I don't know what NOC code to go under, NOC 1241-B (Administrative Assistant) or NOC 1243-B (Medical Secretary). I don't work in a Doctor's office, as the clinic I work in is mainly Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Naturopath, Nutrition and Massage Therapy with a sports facility attached.
I have a degree in Life Science so this fits well with my current role. I never did a medical exam either for my IEC, but because I'm not in a medical profession, I assume this is ok.
My other question is that when submitting my application, should I attach pay slips aswell, although I don't have all of my pay slips. I do have my T4's for 2011 from both employers. Is this enough?
Another thing since my application won't be sent in until end of February as I am awaiting english test results, and my visa expires in Aoril, when can I apply for my work extension so I can have implied status, as I await to hear from my first stage approval for PR, as I need to apply for my bridging visa and I can't lose status. Does the application for bridge visa go in with the application for PR or is this separate?
