Hi everyone,
My partner and I applied for Permanent residence under the common law partner class. I just received an email from CIC with details about linking our application to an online account. I have already tried doing so three times unsuccessfully and am worried that I would be locked out of the account due to making too many attempts.
I want to ask a few incredibly stupid questions and map the steps I do:
1. Select "Permanent Residence" then "Family class (Common-Law)"
2. Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and Family name - NOW DO I FILL IN MY FAMILY NAME OR MY BOYFRIEND/COMMON LAW PARTNER's FAMILY NAME?
3. Fill in Aplicant's personal information
4. Other information:
Current marital status (required) - common-law - OR SHOULD IT BE SINGLE?
Number of family members, including the primary applicant, that are part of this application (required) - 2
I have read multiple topics where a lot of people struggle with linking the application and end up trying different variations until they eventually succeed.
Thanks in advance for your help!
