Hi,
Please help me in answering this question.
My husband has less than 6 in IELTS, hence I wanted to apply as the primary applicant for EE.
My question is if I am the primary applicant, will both of us will be given PR and thus my husband also can work in Canada?
Or

only I will be given PR and he cannot work?

Please answer this question

AFAIK, Both will get PR and both can Work..

Are you sure?

Because there are few posts in this Forum where they say, only primary applicant will get PR and secondary applicant will not have work permit and cannot work.

All the family members in your application will get PR at the same time and Once you are the permanent residents, you should be free to work..

Yes. Both can work. Still a good idea to drop an email to cic and get confirmation: question@cic.gc.ca

Please help me, while I'm trying to determine eligibility, the first steps asking "Which province or territory do you plan to live in"? . Should I select the province I'm in right now or any province I can select doesn't matter. Dear experts please clarify this question.
Thanking in advance.
