Hello Everyone,

I have a small question, can someone help me in this regard please,

In 2015, I moved to the USA on a student visa from India. Before coming to the US, I worked with a company for around 1 and half year back in India. When my visa got approved, I gave notice to my manager and they asked me to serve for 60 days in order to have my experience certificate.

At that time I couldn't work for 60 days as university classes were about to start in less than a month, hence I left company without taking experience certificate. But I have offer letter, payslips of all months I worked and bank statement of my salary (last 6 months of my salary statement, which were attested by bank manager).

As I do not have relieving letter and experience certificate, can I still use this work experience in claiming points for Express Entry? I can provide appointment letter, payslips and salary statements. Are there any other alternative document(s) do I need to provide for claiming points for this work experience?

You can get a reference letter signed from your old colleague on a plain paper. Mention about this on your LOE and this will be sufficient.

Hello @mr.preetsingh, thank you so much for your reply, I really appreciate your response.

What all details should I mention in this “Reference Letter”? Do I need this reference letter get notarized from India?

I am sorry to ask, I don’t know what does a LOE means.

Can you please give me information about these. I will be very thankful to you. Thanks so much in advance.

Search for EE Completeness Check, and you will see Reference letter requirements.
LoE means letter of explaination.
