Hi Seniors,

I have applied for PR and got the Same on May 2011. From last two years I am in US but in June I m planning to move to Montreal. As I have PR under FSW category, can I legally work in Quebec or is it a different category? Also does PR have any expiry date as I m entering after two years gap?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Seniors, Can you please provide your expert comments ?

PR Card has 5 years expiry date. i think also you know that in order to keep your status as PR you need to stay in canada for 2 years out of 5 and if you want to apply for residency you need to stay 3 out of 5.

as for quebec, i dnt think thats a problem. maybe qorax will help you in this.

Being a Canadian PR you can live and work in Quebec, but you will have no right to any provincial service , health care, free school education for your children. etc...You need to obtain CSQ to enjoy all Quebec provincial benefits.

Once you enter as permanent resident in Quebec, and if you still wish to work there, you can apply for CSQ, in Montreal , saint Jaques street Quebec immigration office. It may take 15 days or more to get it.
