HELP NEEDED!!! Hearing Postposments by the Refugee board

Good Day everyone,
I have been going through alot of posts here the last 48 hours pertains Refugee issues and it has really been deeply helpful.

Now am a refugee claimant who was meant to have his hearing yesterday the 10th of May 2016 but my lawyer called me that same day and told me that my hearing has been postponed due to non availaibilty of a board member.
Now i understand that recently the Refugee board has been employing new Board members in decision making and for some reasons this new board members still revert back to their supervisors for final decision. This means that you will not get any decision on the spot.

For me this changes is so depressing as i have prayed, prepared, hoped and waited for that date to come and go so i can have a life here in Canada. The saddening side of it is that no new date was giving to me. i have also reached out to 519 and the said lots of people have been encountering such recently while Some people with same issue have also been waiting since last year for a hearing date.

Am really confused at the moment. is just waking up every morning without a goal and nothing to hope for! Please i need advice.

Just so you know, the refugee judge doesnt give his final decision at the end of the hearing.
He has to examine every details in the hearing and all the evidence submitted and there's also bureaucracy as well.

As for the new date hearing, you will receive a new date in the post, they dont just tell you the same day about the new date, this is how the bureaucracy works in Canada.

Dont stress out for nothing, just be patient and have a good day.

My situation is that they postponed my hearing without setting a new date and this was because they are lacking enough Board members.
Now am more worried about how long am waiting to here from them about a new date and also the fear of people who have the same issue is really disturbing. I however pray mine takes a different turn and i atleast get my hearing, my voice heard and fairness in Justice.

You will receive the new date in the coming weeks.

Just cool down and take it easy, if your case is genuine, then you should relax and enjoy Canada meanwhile because you will get it at the end. It's unhealthy to be stressed out for no reason.
