Hello,
I need some help filling out my Express Entry profile, please.
I have completed a 2 year diploma in Computer Programming within Canada, but I have been working as an Electronics Repair Technician (NOC B) for over a year now. I have read about how your work experience does not have to be related to your education, but on the "Work History" form I have to enter the date I became qualified for my job as a technician:
"Date Danial Rauf first became qualified to practice in this occupation
If the "primary occupation" is:
"Employment requirements
Thanks in advance.

If the "primary occupation" is:
- a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
- any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)"
"Employment requirements
- Completion of a two- to three-year college program in electronics
or
Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program in electronic servicing and repair
or
Completion of high school or college courses in electronics and on-the-job training is required. - Trade certification for electronics technicians (consumer products) is available, but voluntary, in Ontario, British Columbia and the Yukon."
Thanks in advance.
