No you don't need to do this. But keep a copy for yourself though it is not required.

Wait, that's a big part. Have you got the confirmation message?

Yes, I got an email that I got a message.

Under "My Messages". There is "Submission Confirmation" which says

"This confirms that your application for temporary residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration
Canada (CIC)"

Is that correct? It doesn't mention any study permit. But I applied for that.
