Hi Everyone,

This might seem a bit extra and too needy, but trust me I am so nervous almost about everything.

Posting the employment letter format bellow, the one I am finally going ahead with after literally spending hours on it. Please help me with your valuable feedback on the below
  • Is the below format OK, or should I simplify it?
  • Is it OK to mention the corresponding NOC? Of course I am not so sure (yet) if my employers will agree to that.
  • Do I need to give the CTC details? Should I attach a copy of my appointment letter?
  • Are there any hidden disadvantages of mentioning the benefits in detail? Like, are the again going to ask me for the proof to show the PF, mediclaim ETC? Should a just attach the appointment letter?
  • Frankly I was so confused between two NOC codes, both of them 'partly' are appropriate to describe my employment, but after a lot (like a lotttt) of thinking, I am going ahead with the one that looks safe, here is the link if anyone is familiar with the NOCs 1123 and 0124 ... Please please please tell me I selected the correct NOC, I work as a branded content manager and I have no Idea where that should go. Here is the link: http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/NOC/QuickSearch.aspx?ver=16&val65=1123

1. Format is fine
2. Do not include NOC. IRCC actively looks that job letters are not exact replica of NOC descriptions and there have been cases of rejection when people have copy pasted NOC responsibilities. You're not doing that but better to remove NOC.
3. Yes you need to mention compensation. No need to attach appointment letter. This letter itself is going to be on company letterhead.
4. No hidden disadvanatges
5. Based on what you wrote 1123 looked okay to me.

Hi Cansha ... need help again, so my HR refused to give the below details in my letter;
  1. CTC & benefits
  2. Hours of working - Apparently the best they can do is mention that I was a full time employee
I am still trying to push them, but they are refusing it stating some company policy, they say i can show the last increment letter and offer letter for CTC and benefits details. What should I do? I have all the emails where they have refused mention the aforementioned details :/

It is okay. For compensation you can attach last increment letter or pay stubs. Many people do that and it is perfectly fine. For hours check on pay stub. In most companies hours are mentioned on pay stub. If they are mentioning on letter that you are a full time employee that is also fine.

That's such a relief Cansha, thank you so much - Slight hiccup though - one of my friend is also applying for the PR, but through a consultancy and she has been instructed to submit pay stubs or Form 16 along with the reference letter irrespective - I have worked with the said company for 3 years and I can't possibly get the pay stubs for all the three years (although I have bank statements) - So i decided to get my Form 16 and until now I completely forgot that my PAN card has not been updated with my new address so my form 16 mentions a really old address from 2007 - Please advice if I should completely skip submitting the pay stubs and form 16 (I have increment letter) Or is it OKAY to have different addresses on the Passport and PAN Card?

See I have read on forums and seems like most consultants are idiots and asking to submit things which have never been asked by CIC. If you have a letter on company letter head which has your job duties that is the most important thing. There is no way CIC will look at form 16 and validate NOC. It serves absolutely no purpose. In cases where some folks are not able to get salary or hours information on letter head they submit recent 3-6 months salary slips. There is NO WAY CIC is going to look at pay stubs of 3 years!!
I'm still awaiting my PR but my friend had submitted just the letter and got PR. I also only submitted the letter as my company put everything on one letter.

I really hope so!!! That case I guess I will submit my 3 months salary slips along with the reference letter and increment letter as my Employers won;t mention the CTC - will that suffice or should I submit bank statements to show the salary credit? - Also is it absolutely mandatory to have tax returns filed or is it needed at any stage? Apparently for Australia PR it is a mandate?

No you don't need to show salary credit as well unless they specifically asked for it. Honestly I haven't seen a case like that. Also, I'm not aware of tax returns being asked for anyone for EE. May be they ask in Australia.
