SO I just got my ITA which was a surprise to me. I have the following questions about the documents:-

1- DO I need to certify or notarize any document??

2- Regarding my education, I am a doctor but with MAsters and PHD and applying for a lecturer job (not a physician) so my degrees were asssessed by WES. Do I need to upload all my degrees or just the highest PHD?

Thanks

-What documents are you talking about ?
-Make one file, attach, ECA(from WES), Degrees(which ever was approved by evaluated by WES) and the transcripts/mark sheets for this degree

When it comes to your diploma it does not matter that much if you worked as a doctor or as a lecturer (most people with university diplomas have an option to teach). What matters are requirements on specific diplomas. So if your diploma has that requirement, you have to use prescribed assessment organization.

WHat do you mean ? I thought you get assessed according to your NOC job title. For example if you are a specialist physician you need mCC assessemnt

Here is your problem:
1. NOC 4011 (University lecturers and professors). - one of the requirement is:
Licences or professional certification may be required for professors teaching future practitioners in certain professionally regulated fields, such as medicine, engineering, architecture, psychology or law.
2. From the guidelines https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/education-assessed.html#toc3

If you are applying:
  • as a specialist physician (NOC 3111) or general practitioner/family physician (NOC 3112), the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) must do an ECA for your primary medical diploma,
  • as a pharmacist (NOC 3131):
    • if you need a license to practice (for example, providing patient care in a community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, long term care facility or other practice settings) the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) must do your ECA,
    • if you are in a position where you do not need a license (organizations such as the pharmaceutical industry and government which require a pharmacy degree because of the education or skill set, but may not require a licence to practice pharmacy), you can have your credentials assessed by one of the other designated ECA organizations. Contact the regulatory authority in the province where you plan to live to find out if you need a licence to practice your intended occupation.
  • under any other occupation, check the websites of the other CIC-designated organizations or contact them directly to find which one best suits your needs.
Now also you have other specialization, since you want to teach future doctors you will most likely need your licence as well. If you need your licence, they might consider same requirements as if you were a doctor yourself. Hence they will most likely require that special MCC ECA.

You would not need it for example:
If you were doing specialized buyer or a project manager in a company and for that position they would require medical education (so that you have very good knowledge about the topic).

So also written a bit heavy, I understand the requirements as such:
if you need a licence, you need special ECA, if you do not need a licence, you do not need special ECA.

recheck with others that had same type of NOC.
