Hi Rohit,

Does the owner of the land live abroad/in a different city? Or have you been representing the owner for legal/business/government matters for that land?

Even if you submit a Power of Attorney.... that land CANNOT be shown as your asset. It can only be shown as a "reason" to return

Cheers

This property has been transferred to me as an Inheritance. It is my parents property for which the power of attorney was transferred. Can I still show them .

If you have a Power of Attorney.... then it means you do not own the property.... legally, it is still owned by your parents.... and you only represent your parents (as per the clauses set out in the PoA) = you cannot show it as your asset.

If you have a Gift Deed.... and this must be a legal document in your name.... stamp duty and registration paid for.... then you own the plot of land through a transmission process = you can show it as your asset.

If it is an inheritance/legal document.... then is a Will or a Nomination.... you will be the legal owner only when your parents pass away + when the property is legally registered in your name = you cannot show it as your asset

You must include every evidence to prove your business ties: Business registration, 6 months company bank statement, tax returns, audit statement, etc etc

As a Power of Attorney holder (and if your parents live in the same city where the land is located).... then you can only show this POA as a tie/reason to return.

You cannot show this land as your asset. It is NOT an immovable asset owned by you
