I applied for MS in Computer Science at Carleton University but they denied me
I am from the Philippines and they have no grade 11 or 12

I used a gpa calculator I only used my grades in Computer Science and my Cumulative GPA: 3.45
I have no GRE/GMAT
Ielts 7.0, lowest 6.5
No work Experience
No publications

But I attended 4 years of nursing with degree and 2
2 1/2 years of Computer Science it was a trimester school and some of my previous subjects were credited thats why I finished it early

I tried applying for Ryerson university but both OUAC and ryerson are locked at fall intake I cant choose January intake

I want a university which will give me open PGWP after my studies and plan to apply for PR in British columbia does not matter which university I go, I will move to BC and work after

Really need some help here
If I apply for bachelors in Computer Science will they give me a study permit? since I already completed my bachelors in Computer science?

Will Acadia University do me any good? I dont know any french

I emailed ryerson but no reply from them

Can anyone suggest other universities seeing that carleton denied me due to "Carleton University's admission process is highly competitive as we receive many applications from both domestic and international students."

Guys if carleton rejected me what universities should I apply now?
their reason was that "admissions are very competitive"

Are you aware that MSc is mostly research/thesis based and you will need to secure a supervisor before applying to the program? Did you secure a supervisor for that?

Carleton university did not require me to secure a supervisor on application

All the university say that. Whether you secure supervisor or not, they will take in your application and pass it among the faculty members. If any member is interested, he will recommend you for admission. So its better to get hold of a supervisor prior to applying. And BTW in all universities it is competitive to get in a research based masters due to lot of applicants applying

If I enroll in a course/project work master program
In your opinion which universities would likely accept me?

McGill's admission procedure for Master's in Electrical Engineering also says that there is no need to contact a supervisor since they will assign one to you if you get admitted. None the less, I still went through the list of professors in the department's website and emailed the one whose research work is aligned with my interest. To be honest, I think getting a supervisor to pick you increases your chances of admission so I say try and get one. I'm also from the Philppines! :)

Hey! Thanks and good luck! :)
McGill also has a one-to-one degree equivalency rule so they will accept bachelor's degree graduates from the Philippines directly into their masters program. Other universities (U of T and Ottawa and UBC) require that you have either started or finished masters locally already before applying.
