Help! Need guidance for Police Certificate

Hi experts, I obtained police certificate already last week from Singapore police station. I am currently a Singapore citizen and have been worked and lived in Singapore for 8 years but before that I had lived in China for 25 years. Do I need to fly back to China to purposely issue a police certificate or just the submission of Singapore police certificate is sufficient enough? Or Can I go ahead submit Singapore police cert first and wait SGVO request email for additional police cert? Thank you very much for your guidance.

Yes, you need PCC for China as well.

Thank you CanadaWeCome for the prompt reply. omg, but China police station will surely refuse to issue as I don't have China household cert or national ID anymore (converted to Singapore Citizen in year 2014). I guess i will have to submit the Singapore police cert first and need to explain it to CIC if they request it. :-[

CIC will reject your application if you do that. You NEED PCC form China before you submit. Check their website, apply online or get an agent if you can (I heard there are some agencies that help you for a fee)

Recently I and my wife get police clearance certificate from our country of residence. Because my wife's passport will soon expire, she renewed it. So in the police clearance certificate old passport number is written. Now my question is: do she need to apply for another police clearance certificate or the old one will be fine? Please note that her police clearance certificate is less than one-month-old. What should she do?

Now I am panic and seriously considering this problem. I actually issued police report in 2008, can I still use it? I stayed in China two cities before, do I need to fly to each city police station to issue each police report? :-\

PCC is country wise, one PCC for china would suffice.

If you've never lived in China after that PCC issuance, Yes.

I don't know what you mean by police report? They call it Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).

It should be issued after the last date of your stay in China.

Thank you Asivad Anac, I never lived after issurance of PCC . Yeah looks no need issued but for sake of safety, I will try to call Canada Singapore office tmr see what they will reply
