Hello, today I got a new message on my GCKEY panel and apparently they have rejected my visa almost 10 days after I went to Turkey for my biometrics enrollment.
I'm an Iranian citizen so we have to work with the embassy in Ankara, Turkey and do everything with them as there is no Canadian embassy in Iran.
The reasons given make no sense to me:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
• Pursuant to paragraph 220(a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.
Now for the first two reasons, I have no idea what I have done wrong or what documents I missed. I clearly stated in my statement letter that I plan to return to my country and continue work here. I also don't have any siblings and my parents will depend on me as they get older.
I provided them with a letter from my father's(sponsor) bank showing his current balance equalling $82,000 and his turn over for the past 3 months. I also included a proof of property ownership and confirmation of paid tuition for one semester to Seneca College. I'm taking the 3 year CPA course there.
This has totally ruined my week and possibly my life, I have no idea what to do now. I planned for this study trip for so long and now it's all ruined..
At the end of the letter they have stated: "You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements." But I'm not sure if that's going to help unless I find the problem.
