i'm a postgrad student: My passport, student visa (given Jan 2013) and study permit all expire in March, 2014. I'm already about to renew my passport, but all the other people I know, where given study permits till 2015, regardless of their visa and passport expiry.

My program ends in April 2013, and the graduation in June, please what do I do? I can't apply for another study permit extension just for a month of study!, doesn't make much sense to me......:(

Thanks!

1. It may not make much sense to you, but no valid passport, no study permit. I suggest you renew your passport and then extend your study permit. Its your choice, though, if you don't means an overstay which not good news if you wish to come to Canada in the future.

Hi,

Just apply for extension with LOA from college.
You'll get 1+3 months study permit.
So you won't face any problem for applying PGWP too.

Good Luck.
