Hello.
I am a student from Bangladesh. My paternal uncle is sponsoring me. I showed 160k CAD for my studies and living expenses. I provided a letter from him that declares why and how he is sponsoring me. I also provided all his bank statements, tax papers, trade license etc. He is an engineering contractor and is very rich.
I want to know if I have chances to get the study permit.

No one can tell you chances because funds are just one part of the approval process. Did you and your family show any of your own funds? Are these his personal funds as liquid assets or business funds? So he is spending all his savings on you. Very rich is not $160k.

Program (years, degree), career advancement, ties to your home country, grades etc. all play a role in the process.

VO would ask why your uncle should spend his whole life savings on YOUR studies. It simple makes no sense.
How old are you anyways?
We've seen people sponsored by non-parents, non immediate family get rejected. Let's be straight, 160k on his savings for your studies? Does not seem bonafide.

That’s not his life long savings. He is just showing 160k for my studies. I actually showed 80k cad required for mine.

So why do you need his funds if you are personally showing 80k. As stated, funds are just one part of the approval process.

I am not personally showing them. He is showing it. The money is my dads. But he couldn’t get the tax papers ready. That’s why I showed him as my sponsor.

Wait and see as assume you are a student for next year or September. If for September, when did you apply. When you say transfer student so you are in Canada as a high school student? Funds are just one part. Your father’s funds have more bearing than an uncle. All your father needs to show is his personal bank accounts.

It’s not that easy for a Bangladeshi to show fund without any tax assessment. VOs find that fraudulent. That too his own current bank account’s statements are very less.
i am a post secondary student. I am not in Canada. I applied from Bangladesh.

I had to show my uncle as my sponsor as in his name was there in the trade license. All the business transactions are done in his name. The company is both my father’s and uncle’s.

So you are not showing personal funds but business funds. That is alway an issue as VOs want to see personal, liquid funds.

All that showed was profits from his work orders. Only when he completes the order, the profit goes to his bank account. That’s the source of his funds.

I showed all his accounts. Personal, savings, current.
Ok. Personal funds from your family and your uncle is what they want to review. Profits from work orders probably are irrelevant. Since don't know when you applied or when you are attending, hopefully you will get a response soon. All the best.

Profit is the source of income for both of the family. The business is like that. It’s all well written in papers.
I applied on July 21st, med 26th july, biometric 29th july, eligibility review 5th august. Trying to catch the fall intake.
