Hello I am fairly newbie here , and would like your advice on how to achieve 67 point or more ,,, btw i am married with 1 kid. This is what i have so far done . i have 20500 Canadian dollars, i have ECA with bachelor degree. I have done the ielts and got a clb of 8. i have more than 6 years of experience outside Canada and more than 30 hours a week. My wife has a masters degree but no ielts exam she is learning English. thats my back ground. and this is my calculations

age : 37= 10 points
education = Bachelor degree= 21 points
point for language= Clb 8 for ielts =20 points
work experience more than 6 years= 15 points

total = 66 points more or less

now i have a question if i include my spouse education which she has a masters degree would that give me point in adaptability in the federal skilled worker program or not???
i can retake my ielts and get a better grade too. hopefully a clb 9 which gives me 24 points to get a magical 70.
please if you have any advice on what to do i will appreciate any good advice about this.
thanks for taking your time to read and post in advance! have a great day! ;D ;D

This points system is obsolete now. the new system is Express Entry. Google it Express entry CRS calculator and check your points .

There is a different points system for the Express Entry programme, use this link to get the CRS calculator, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Then study this link to understand the Express Entry programme, http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLIsh/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

1. No it is not. You still have to score 67 points to be eligible for EE.

U need to find out how u r scoring in crs which is the real eligibility criteria but I still need to score 67 points ...
When u get ITA when u don't score more than 67 u won't be able to apply for PR
